Returns & Exchanges Policy - Galleria Italia

OVERVIEW

At Galleria Italia, we respect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If you receive a product that is faulty, unsafe, or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy. This may include repair, replacement, or refund, and we will also cover the cost of return freight where required. Please note that restocking or return-freight fees are never applied to faulty goods.

CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

General Conditions

Items must be unused, unassembled, and returned in their original packaging along with all inserts and hardware.
All returns must be authorized in advance. You will need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and arrange the return within the specified window.
Inspection and photos of the item may be required before authorization is granted.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
Shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. Unless otherwise agreed, customers are responsible for the cost of return freight.

CATEGORY A

Outdoor & Indoor Furniture (Stocked, Non-Custom)

The return window is 7 days from delivery or collection.
A 20% restocking fee applies, and the customer is responsible for return freight.
Returns are not accepted for assembled or used items, mattresses or cushions that have been used, or clearance/floor stock sold "as displayed." The ACL continues to apply in all cases.

CATEGORY B

Custom-Made Kitchens (Cabinetry, Benchtops, Joinery)

Change-of-mind returns are not available once materials have been ordered or production has commenced.
If the product is faulty or does not meet the agreed specifications, we will repair or replace the affected components or provide a refund, as required by the ACL.
If we carry out the measurements, we guarantee a fit to the measured space. If you or your builder supply the measurements, you are responsible for any measurement errors. The ACL still applies to the quality of the product.

CATEGORY C

Custom Aluminium-Framed Glazed Windows & Doors

Change-of-mind returns are not permitted after production has commenced due to the custom nature of these products.
If the product is faulty or non-compliant, we will repair, replace, or refund in accordance with the ACL and applicable standards (AS 2047 / AS 1288).

CATEGORY D

WPC & PVC Decking Floors (Boards) and Installation Accessories

Returns are accepted within 14 days for unopened full cartons and unused accessories only.
A 20% restocking fee applies, and the customer is responsible for return freight, which may be substantial due to the size and weight of these products.
Returns are not accepted for cut boards, partial cartons, boards with saw or drill marks, or opened adhesives and sealants.
Any damage or shortage on arrival must be reported within 48 hours, along with photos. This does not limit your rights under the ACL.

CATEGORY E

Wall Cladding Boards & Exterior Screening (WPC)

Returns are accepted within 14 days for unopened full cartons.
Fees and exclusions are the same as those that apply to decking products.

CATEGORY F

Décor, Vases, Artificial Plants

The return window is 14 days.
A 10% restocking fee applies, and the customer is responsible for the cost of return freight.

PROCEDURE

How to Lodge a Return or Exchange

If eligible, we will issue an RMA and provide return instructions.

Once we have inspected the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange, deducting any applicable restocking fees.

Please note that bank processing times may affect the timing of your refund.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
